Invoice 14

Producer’s responsible declaration (VERI*FACTU)

Version 2026.09.16 · 16 September 2026

About this document

Spanish law (Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024) requires the producer of an invoicing system to publish a “declaración responsable” stating that a named version of the software meets the VERI*FACTU requirements. The Spanish version of this page is the legally operative text; this English translation is provided for convenience.

System identification

Invoicing system name: Invoice 14. Identifier: invoice14-web. Version: 2026.09.16. Components: the Invoice 14 web application (invoice creation, immutable records, user interface) and an external submission component run by an authorised provider acting as social collaborator before the AEAT (hash chaining, signing and transmission of the invoice records).

Architecture: mixed system with an external component. The application builds each invoice record from the issued, immutable invoice; the external component computes the chained hash, signs and submits the record to the Spanish tax agency immediately, and returns the outcome, which the application keeps.

Producer identification

Producer: James Irving-Swift, a self-employed professional registered in Spain. Tax ID (NIF): Y4442531A. Address: Spain. Contact: hello@invoice14.com.

Declaration

The producer declares, under their own responsibility, that version 2026.09.16 of Invoice 14, operating as a verifiable-invoice issuing system (VERI*FACTU), meets the requirements of article 29.2.j) of Law 58/2003 (General Tax Law), the regulation approved by Royal Decree 1007/2023 of 5 December, and Order HAC/1177/2024 of 17 October regarding the integrity, preservation, accessibility, legibility, traceability and inalterability of invoice records.

In particular: every issued invoice is stored as an immutable, sequentially numbered document; an invoice record is generated and submitted to the AEAT for every issued invoice, and a cancellation record for every void; records carry the chained hash computed with the algorithm published by the AEAT; invoices carry the tax QR code and the legend “Factura verificable en la sede electrónica de la AEAT”; the system does not allow issued invoices to be modified, nor records to be hidden or altered.

Mode of operation: exclusively as a VERI*FACTU system (continuous submission of records to the AEAT). The non-submission mode is not offered.

This declaration covers version 2026.09.16 and is replaced by a new declaration with every version that affects how invoice records are generated or submitted. It is made available to users at this address and from the application’s settings.
